Come for the Freshness! Stay for the Fun! The Kids Community Garden. A partnership between the market and the R-7 school district, the garden is located on Aylor Street between the kindergarten and the middle school. We meet after summer school (about 3:05) on Wednesdays. Wear a hat and sturdy shoes (no flip flops or sandals, please). When summer school is out, we'll switch to a morning. To receive notices about activities, "friend" our garden's Facebook page. Clearing the garden for fall.

It also must be made or grown within 50 miles of the market, except in rare cases. If you would like to become a vendor please call Eileen at 417 483-8139 or email her at eileennichols@sbcglobal.net. Come for the Freshness! Stay for the Fun! Under the pavilion at the Main Street entrance to King Jack Park. April 19 through September. 4 to 7 pm Tuesdays. 11 to 2 Thursdays. 9 to noon Saturdays. On Tuesdays we usually have Carmine's Wood Fired Pizza making pizza to order and Stewart's Bakery with comfort style supper choices. On the first and third Thursday of each month, we usually have Granny Shaffers with fried catfish and fries, as well as Thai wraps and Taco-o The Town with Mexican style foods.
