AJN: My Decade
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-decade.html
Tuesday, January 5, 2010. I'm not one for talking about my life a great deal on my blog, BUT I saw this post. My cute friend Erin did. And I loved it. So, I thought I'd do my own. Without further ado, here is Amanda in a decade:. I graduated from high school. I started BYU. I hated BYU. I was an Elementary Education Major hopeful (I know, right? I lived in the dorms (shout out to Hinckley Hall) with Emily. I got REALLY bad grades. Emily, Danielle, and Me in front of my dorm room magazine wall of pictures.

AJN: 9 months
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/04/9-months.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Well, nine months. During this month Zeke has now been out of my body longer than he was in it. Often I reflect on what my life was like a year ago. I was very miserable - I was having daily migraines and in general feeling the worst I've ever felt (minus post surgery). I'm so glad that I feel infinitely better this year than I did last year. In this pic I had just pushed him down to try and get a non-fuzzy picture. I'm a great mom.). He's still not very verbal. He Oooooooo...

AJN: 11 months
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/07/11-months.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Yes, we have made it to 11. Yes, he's laughing/crying here. Love his blue eyes. He makes great facial expressions. I think he's still about 23-ish pounds. He won't stay still on the scale long enough for me to weigh him anymore. Oh, you know, just wearing 24 month clothes. Zeke is still our sensitive soul, that's for sure. He needs a while to warm up to new people, places, things, and experiences. He loves bathtime paint. Even though he still tries to eat it. He seems to have les...

AJN: University of Utah Hospital Review (spoiler: one and a half thumbs down)
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/07/university-of-utah-hospital-review.html
Wednesday, July 22, 2015. University of Utah Hospital Review (spoiler: one and a half thumbs down). I want to start out with the good (so this is why they get a half of a thumbs up). My neurosurgeon, Dr. Couldwell. Was simply amazing. He's the chair of the neurosurgery department, president of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, has done over 3,000 pituitary tumor surgeries, and has tons of other prestigious accolades. Doctors don't do that, they just don't. I also had some pretty fantasti...

AJN: Britney Spears Saved My Life
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2009/05/britney-spears-saved-my-life.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Britney Spears Saved My Life. Oh, yes, she did. At THE CIRCUS tour. And it was awesome. Jen, Maren, and I in front of THE CIRCUS. The evening started out with the Pussy Cat Dolls, who were totally awesome (and totally skanktastic). This is also when Maren and I first became acquainted with Marc (Marc with a 'C' he pointed out several times). Marc became an integral part of our Britney experience. And also, Maren and I ended up kissing Marc. THE CIRCUS will make you do crazy things.

AJN: Mother's Day
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day.html
Thursday, May 21, 2015. So, I celebrated my first Mother's Day with a baby. It was nice. I have never been one of those women who felt bad about not being a mother (or even married) on Mother's Day. It was just a nice day to celebrate my own mom. So, it was a little strange to have Brian and Zeke celebrate me that day. My dad and Brian's dad also got me flowers. My counters were very pretty all week. Zeke loved eating prime rib and crab at the brunch. Overall it was a very lovely day. 22 May, 2015 10:46.

AJN: Sleep
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/08/sleep.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Did you know sleep is really important to your immune health? Like, really, super, crazy important to being healthy. And for some people, it is even more important than others. Sleep deprivation causes the releasing of inflammatory cytokines. Basically cell signaling proteins that are released by cells and impact the behavior of other cells). So basically, if you are sleep deprived, your body is messed up. Since pregnancy my sleep has been very. And I've always been one who cou...

AJN: 12 months
http://mandermusings.blogspot.com/2015/07/12-months.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Well, he's a year old now. Why is it that we find such significance in year mile markers? A question I've been pondering lately. Anyway, that's a more philosophical bent than this post requires, so let's move on. I'm somewhat surprised his eyes have stayed blue. 23 pounds (he was a hair under, but he was so wiggly on the scale it was hard to get his exact weight) (54%). I don't remember. I think about 70%. We took him for ice cream on his birthday (we haven't had his party yet).

The World of Crow: November 2014
http://theworldofcrow.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
The World of Crow. Staying in touch with family and friends all over the world. Friday, November 28, 2014. Thanksgiving - a day of opposites. Our Thanksgiving Day was not only a day of thanks, it was also a day of total opposites. For almost 30 years, we hosted giant Thanksgiving dinners for family and friends. After dinner we spent hours cleaning up the kitchen and playing board games. Now, with Samantha, Jake and George happily settled in Silicon Valley, our Thanksgiving Day celebrations. Despite the w...
