Needle Felted Art and Education. Welcome to We Bee Felting. Felt is a non woven fabric. Needle felting is the art of using a sharp, barbed felting needle to tangle fibers. Because the needle can be directed by the user it becomes a sculpting and ‘drawing’ tool. These felting needles were developed to be used by the woolen mills to create felt. The hand needle felting process involves poking fiber with a felting needle to cause matting or felting. Designed By Diane Balbi.
