Monday, September 14, 2009. On September 3rd, 4 th. We had the chance to travel to the resort city of Baguio. We travelled with another missionary couple. Baguio is about a 5 hour drive north of Manila and is high in the mountains. Jen and Jeff came to the Meadows' for a day or two to help us pack up our heavier belongings and move them out to our storage container. By Tuesday all but our most essential items will be gone from the house-the lighter items that Patty and I can haul out will be left for another week or two. We had Easter dinner with great grandpa and some aunts and an uncle. After we stuffed ourselves, we had peep wars. This is where you take a peep, you know, the marshmallow chick things, stick a toothpick in them and heat them in the microwave until one of them stabs another and becomes the victor! We stopped in the town of to buy lunch and enjoy the medieval castle and grounds. We then got on another train and went over to Frutigen.
