This Alder Be Fun: Our Adoption Info
http://nateandchelseaalder.blogspot.com/p/adoption.html
We are Nathan and Chelsea Alder. We have been married for 8 years in November, and we are looking to add to our family through the miracle of adoption! Nate is amazing. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He works for Madera Mill as a cabinet maker/carpenter/master woodworker man! I work for jetBlue and I love it. I love being able to work from home, and I love the job. The flight benefits aren't too shabby either! We are LDS, and have Christian morals. We are very close to having an adoption pr...

Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Miracle #3!
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2015/04/miracle-3.html
Saturday, April 18, 2015. We were given the shock of all shocks when back in February we learned we would be having another baby. We kept it mostly quiet - only telling close family and friends - until today! This little one will come in a hectic time in our lives, with our trans-Atlantic move just weeks later - but we will gladly take the crazy. I can't believe we will be a family of FIVE! Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Don't mess with the dress
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2010/05/dont-mess-with-dress.html
Tuesday, May 04, 2010. Don't mess with the dress. I got up today, got the mail and noticed yet another bill. Back in November. It was from my ever-so-awesome chiropractor, who STILL hasn't been paid.despite the many phone calls he's made. I got mad. I picked up the phone and called the adjuster.and no sooner than I got my name out SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called our insurance guy (who has been slightly more helpful than a wet rock). And got his voicemail.on which I left a pretty steamed. Go to bat for me.

Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Baby steps
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2010/01/baby-steps.html
Sunday, January 10, 2010. Today Nathan and I spent the afternoon taking another step in our adoption journey. We got fingerprinted! I was so hoping it would be the old fashioned. Cause that would have made a cuter picture. But turns out the state of Illinois is up on technology and used fancy, non-ink. Nathan has good deep-ridged fingerprints.mine were not so good. I told the guy I do a lot of things with my hands (sewing, knitting, scrapbooking, painting, sanding, etc.). It is nice the change. Subscribe...

Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Wait, did my doctor just say that??!?
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2010/01/wait-did-my-doctor-just-say-that.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Wait, did my doctor just say that? I had my physical the other day. I had assumed the position. And then my doctor says "Holly, do you mind if I let Nurse So-and-So take a look at this? That definitely makes the list of Top Ten Things You Never Want to Hear Your Doctor Say. I should mention that everything was fine.no worries). Now I wanna hear the other nine. 29 January, 2010 15:09. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Berlin, Germany - DONE. Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Another Step
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2010/02/another-step.html
Tuesday, February 09, 2010. We fought the winter storm. This morning and set out to our agency for our individual interviews for our adoption. (We are about 45 minutes from our agency's office on a good traffic, fair weather day.traffic was ok today but we're getting dumped on in the weather department). As we've done before we had to get photographic evidence for posterity. As a completely unrelated aside - don't you think our caseworker bears a striking resemblance to Mr Bean? And our home evaluation.

Sunny Side Up in an Upside Down World: Blue or Pink...what do you think?
http://sunnysideupsidedown.blogspot.com/2015/09/blue-or-pinkwhat-do-you-think.html
Monday, September 21, 2015. Blue or Pink.what do you think? Even though we are happily Team Green, it's still fun to wonder and try to predict the gender of this baby. Here are the results of some of the Old Wives' Tales for gender prediction:. Heart Rate - GIRL. If you're above 140 it's a girl, below it's a boy. At 16 weeks our baby's heart rate was 157. At 28 weeks it was 156. At 32 weeks it was 160. Craving meat, cheese, sour or salty stuff means boy - craving fruit and sweets means girl. I am smuggli...

This Alder Be Fun: April 2015
http://nateandchelseaalder.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Apr 27, 2015. This was the year we did our 25 of 25 for Weston! It was pretty cool, and he had no idea. Some of the categories for him were "25 Concerts you would never go to", "25 Reasons of Why You Love The Fugitive So Much", "25 Things That Are Black" and a plethora of other things. I really love our birthday traditions, and I also love that we don't do them for every birthday! Man it's hard work getting all that stuff together! 25 of 25 things means SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE items! Labels: 25 of 25.
