Marne and Todd: Michigan Trip part 3: Family Reunion, Barryton Michigan
http://marneandtodd.blogspot.com/2010/09/michigan-trip-part-3-family-reunion.html
Saturday, September 04, 2010. Michigan Trip part 3: Family Reunion, Barryton Michigan. Barryton, Michigan has a population of 300. How my great grandfather ended up here from Ireland is a family mystery. It's in the middle of nowhere, as you will soon see. The McNeilly's have owned this piece of property for 125 years and so a major reunion was in order. There were 8 original children and I'm from Bert's clan, as we call it. The ones in orange shirts. Bert's Clan. What a motley crew!

Marne and Todd: I Do Not Recommend...
http://marneandtodd.blogspot.com/2010/05/i-do-not-recommend.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. I Do Not Recommend. Spray painting in flip flops! It looks like dirt, but doesn't wash off. You should see my fingers. The trigger finger will have a black nail for at least 3 months! Photos of painted products to follow. I know I owe you photos of house updates, but every time I think of taking a photo, I'm a week away from adding a new finished element to the room, so I post pone the photo so it can be more of a finished product. Marne and Todd: March 2010
http://marneandtodd.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Funny little thing about Florida - - TERMITES! Drywood termites are quite common in these parts of Florida. It was strongly suggested that we "tent and gas" for them as our home inspection pointed out that we, indeed, have them. We still will not be moving in until the end of March. Next up, is wood floor refinishing. Here is what 'tenting for termites' looks like:. Links to this post. Bijou is obsessed with rubbing against herbs. I do not know what is going on here.

Marne and Todd: April 2010
http://marneandtodd.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. Spent the last week in Istanbul, Turkey. I've wanted to visit Istanbul for at least 20 years so it was a real treat. However, I could have done with out the two 20 hour travel days! Istanbul proved to be a real unusual and complex city. The food is delicious, the architecture is unbelieveable, the people are friendly and I've never experienced weather that can change by 10 degrees in minutes before; several times a day. Turkish Pizza with minced meat and herbs. Yum! Our very goo...

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Michigan Friends in Miami. Links to this post. Coral Rock Walls and Trees of Coconut Grove. One of the many things that make Coconut Grove unique are the beautiful coral rock walls and Banyan trees that line the streets. The only thing the following photo has in common with the other photos of this post, is the word UNIQUE. Below is my new end table. I just love it. It's a (UNIQUE) Chinese Garden Stool. Marne and Todd: Miami Dolphins
http://marneandtodd.blogspot.com/2010/10/miami-dolphins.html
Wednesday, October 06, 2010. Robb was in town for the weekend, on business, and was able to get us NFL Dolphins tickets to a Monday Night's game. The weather was incredible; too bad the Dolphins lost - 41 to 14! Did you know there is now a full on night club in the football stadium called Liv. We had entrance to that too, and it was., well, rather disgusting. It had the same club atmosphere and clientele as any other club, but in a football stadium - open until 4 am! Marne and Robb at Sun Life Stadium.

Saturday, September 04, 2010. Michigan Trip part 2: Boyne City, Michigan. From Harbor Springs to Boyne City, to visit more friends! For some reason, I didn't take many photos of this segment. View from a "mountain" we hiked up. It came complete with steps, about 500 of them. Kris, a friend since grade school. The cutest house I've ever seen in Michigan! Reminds me of the houses along the Bosphorous in Istanbul. A cute 4 car cable ferry! Reminds me of Fishers Island, sort of. Our Cousin, Laura Hischke.

Sunday, September 05, 2010. Our 10 year anniversary was recently. It was very low key. We honored it by eating leftovers and drinking champagne. Here is a glimpse down memory lane.
