Random items about Business and the Web. Friday, July 23, 2004. For some years now, it has been possible to edit websites without client-side software, like I'm doing here with Blogger's nice new editor. At the big end of town, most Content Management Systems (CMS) include nifty editors like Ektron's. But Macromedia keeps building products. Posted by Marius Coomans at 7:15 am. Monday, July 19, 2004. If I can't see you, you can't see how dirty I am. Posted by Marius Coomans at 9:55 am. RSS to go mainstream.

Tim’s subsequent description.

Random items about Business and the Web. Thursday, June 16, 2005. I'm having a look at Qumana. Unfortunately, it failed when trying to configure it for the Active Weblog. Which uses Movable Type. I couldn't find any relevant support information of the Qumana site and I expect to forward this post to them for assistance. Unfortunately, when posting this item, a number of glitches appeared:. Random items about Business and the Web. Monday, August 16, 2004. Joy and I are cruising the Queensland coast up to the Whitsunday Islands for seven weeks in our catamaran, Te Moana. Anyone who knows me would wonder how I could do without internet access while on a 7 week cruise. The answer is of course that I can't. Macromedia did a great job building products for Creative Professionals, but failed dismally to make themselves relevant to customers beyond that core. And get "street-cred" with the Python, Ruby and .Net crowds? At Macromedia...
