In December 2000, in the mound "Roshavata Chuka" near Alexandrovo, Haskovo municipality, a team of archaeologists led by Dr. Georgi Kitov (1943-2008) discovered a unique Thracian tomb dating from the IV century B.C. The mound is located near the village and stands out against the background of the area as a beautiful hill.
