MEAK specifically ensures that all equipment reaches the appointed destinations without dilution and that the most deserving cases are supported. Everyone is special. There is no greater joy than to give someone sight. Mike and Dee Bellière are the founders and driving force behind the charity, MEAK. Thirty years ago Mike and Dee’s passion for Kenya and its people was firmly cemented when Dee decided that the fisherman on the beach needed her husband’s favourite T-shirt far more than he did! This led to the pair taking ever-increasing quantities of clothing and other supplies for distribution on their bi-annual family holidays.
