Once the breast screening has been carried out, patients are referred to the Hospital in Rarotonga which is operated by the Cook Islands Ministry of Health. The Cook Islands Breast Cancer Foundation (CIBCF) is a self funding, non government organization whose executives and members are all volunteers. In July the following year (2004) CIBF was incorporated. WHERE OUR MONEY COMES FROM. Pink Ribbon Appeal – CIBF has designated October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and holds it Pink Ribbon Appeal during this month. Other fundraisers – other fundraising events are also organized to boost funds.

The Club Raro Cook Islands Squash Open is a big event every year with visitors from NZ and Australia coming along to join in the excitement. This year we expect one of the largest entries for the tournament and we encourage everyone to register early, especially our visitors wanting to take advantage of our special packages. This years Open is from 21-28th October, 2016. Squashies coming to the event may wish to stay an extra week to take in also the Cook Islands 7‘s in Heaven Rugby 7’s Tournament.
