雖然我參加的扶輪社是在澳洲9710地區的 Rotary Club of Belconnen，但是正如我岳父對我說的 加入扶輪，全世界不管你走到哪裹，你都不會孤單 過去這三年多在台灣，我更是深深的體會到其中的真義。 這三年中，我太太加入3480地區台北扶輪社Rotary Club of Taipei，我雖然身為"寶眷"，但是需要幫忙的地方，我也和台北社的社員們一同付出心力，同心拹力達成共同的目標。 當然，我們也和台北社的社友們一起渡過了許多的歡樂時光 下圖是我和太太在十月啤酒節的活動中和 明年度國際扶輪總社社長(Rotary International President) Gary. 8220;走吧，我們去澳洲看房子 " – 澳大利亞房地產投資偵查隊. 從我的第一場澳洲房地產投資說明會開始，一直到一月初在台北扶輪社演講，往往在會後和出席的朋友們閒聊中，總會 有人說 “Sam, 找個時間你帶我們去澳洲看房子啦 ". 對澳洲房地產有興趣的朋友不少，但是真的要出手，還真需要花些時間和精力去了解當地的情況，否則只是道聽塗說，就砸下大筆銀子去投資，可能到頭來只是投資到別人的荷包裡 然而真的有時間去花心血研究的投資人有幾個 大家都忙，就算花了時間做了些功課，澳洲畢竟是個完全陌生的地方，local knowledge(在地資訊) 的充足與否，可能就是你投資是賺是賠的關鍵喔 簡單來說 就算是台北人要去台中或高雄買房子，如果在台中或高雄有熟識的朋友可以打聽一下該地市場狀況和交易情形，至少會大大降低被仲介唬得團團轉的風險。 來吧 我帶你們去看房子 當然，不是所謂的賞屋團，那没有意義，你直接和 在台灣的幾家代銷公司去看就好囉. 詳情明天再貼吧 (我累了，這兒已經過了半夜– 比台灣快３小時)。 有興趣的朋友請留個言吧 或email: webuyoz@gmail.com. The second property, a house located at Canberra inner south suburb let to a business, also got taken off the list. Why? I was not convinced the return will stay the same if the current tenant (the business) decided to move out. How do I know? After some negotiation, our offer was accepted. We bought it for $270k.
