Monday, August 9, 2010. Just got back to Leconfield from a trip to. Despite the rain, or ‘Scotch mist’ as my wife calls it, we had a wonderful time. The walks to the ‘. 8217; were stunning and the hotel superb. We found New Lanark Mill on the internet and it was all it was cracked up to be. For only £260 including domain name they can. Thursday, August 26, 2010. I wish I had invented these! I wish I had invented these! They're small, rubber and hoping to conquer the world. Silly Bandz are colourful, elasticised, silicone wristbands that come in a variety of shapes and are worn like a regular bracelet. They can be stretched to go on to the wrist but always revert back to their original shape, be it a dinosaur or letter of the alphabet. All for a glorified elastic band. Now that IS small business success. I wish I had invented these!

Wednesday, August 18, 2010. What a great place Leconfield. I have been away for a few days and as soon as I reached the. Lanes I knew I was home. OK, so I got stuck behind the inevitable tractor but it slowed me down to see the last of the poppies in bloom and the hedgerows full of ripening fruit – time to get the wine making gear out! No milk for a coffee when I got home, so off to the village shop. Yes, Leconfield. Still has one and a Post Office too. The staff are. And the rescued battery hens.
