Ancient Paths: January 2011

Seeking 'Wisdom's Path of Peace': earthy spiritual journeying rooted in Christian tradition, inspired by the natural world, by the faith paths of diverse times and cultures, and by today's hunger for true peace and healing. Friday, 28 January 2011. We have not come so very far really, our needs have not changed in essence. Discovering how to be most fully and wonderfully human, humanity at its most profound, seems to me to be the essence of the spiritual path, whichever faith - what else can we do, after...

Thursday, September 28, 2006. It means we will not be silent. Posted by Joe at 3:16 AM. Friday, September 22, 2006. Apologies anyone who is excitedly waiting for news of our allotment. Life took over for a few days and I was having a problem with updating the blog. Is a more detailed explanation from our friends at HDRA. We have planted a variety of Rye intercropped with a Field Bean. Since we took this photo, we've had heavy rain which has caused the string to snap. I am trying not to stand on the beds ...

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Living in the Aftermath. Though I have not posted for many months it is not as if I have forgotten about this ethereal space:) I suppose it is just one of the realities of living in the aftermath of such an intense experience; time and space intervene, edges are smoothed and refined, distances increase, yet memories stir beneath it all. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. In her book "Home By Another Way" (Cowley, 1999), Barbara Brown Taylor writes of what it is we seek to encounter along our journeys of faith. The following excerpt provides me with a reminder of this as I live to fulfill my own call to ministry. May we continue to seek. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Journeys: A Passion Re-Kindled
http://rar-ccs-gpe-2008.blogspot.com/2010/11/passion-re-kindled.html
Saturday, November 20, 2010. Although it has been well over a year since I have offered any reflections on this site it has never been far from my thoughts. It has waited - patiently - for me to return, and today I realized that with excitment. In response to these stirrings I have composed prayers for each of the last two meetings of Twin Valleys Presbytery, in an effort to help raise awareness of the issues of Palestine and Israel. These prayers created the incentive to return to blogging. May it be so!

We R Side by Side: About
http://wersidebyside.blogspot.com/p/about-this-blog.html
We R Side by Side. Life is more fun when we open ourselves to one another. We are all living in this planet side by side no matter where we come from and who we are. Our earth is like our body. Our body comprises of different parts (eyes, hands, leg.) that are equally important to build and maintain a healthy body. A healthy world requires us to embrace the differences among people and support each other to exercise our individual and collective talents. May 19, 2010 at 3:41 PM. May 19, 2010 at 9:09 PM.
