The We Care Board of Directors oversees and ensures integrity of planning and direction of the ministry. It also manages the business and property of the corporation. January 24-28, 2016. Beginning in a single prison with a small group of volunteers in 1979, the We Care event "ReNew Hope" has been held each year since then and now reaches about 25 different prisons throughout the state of Alabama. Held each January, this event attracts hundreds of volunteers, evangelists, and musicians from all over the United States who carry the Gospel message to thousands of men and women in Alabama's prison system.
