Dr Williams is off this weekend, so Dr. Shram came by for a lengthy visit on Friday. To put it plainly we are waiting on Patti's kidneys to start functioning. Choosing Hope: Patti's Journey. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Patti had a fairly good day today. Thank you all that showed and shared in the moment of her turning 49 years young. I'm so greatful that we were able to get her home into her surroundings and make her comfortable. We did meet with the hospic admissions folks today and that went well. Others in the St John's Hospic will be calling tomorrow to schedule appointments with the family. They provide for the entire family and that is a good thing.
