Return to Main Site. One day, Lauren accepted a job at Mentor United Methodist Church. Little did she know, as she was introduced to the congregation, she happened to catch the eye of a certain guitar player in the band. Over many months, Lauren and Kevin worked together on several church projects from designing T-shirts over email, to prepping Youth Events to make them multimedia, to serving on the Missions Committee, to cooking as a great team in the MUMC kitchen. and a friendship grew.

Liberia - Adventuring Together - Wedding

Return to Main Site. In February, we will be overseas for just over 2 weeks as part of a Volunteer In Mission (VIM) Work Team to the Camphor Mission Station. In Liberia, Africa. Camphor Mission includes a school, a clinic, an agricultural program, a church, and more to help transform lives from a dark yesterday to a brighter tomorrow. We are alive and doing very well. The food is awesome. The people are friendly. The weather is warm. The fruit is amazingly fresh and tasty. The mission is busy. We both are having some African clothing made. The power will be out soon, so I need to finish this up for now. We send our greetings to everyone back home. We can't believe that it is less than a month before we travel here! Wedding Aftermath and New Site. First off, shall we say that the honeymoon was indeed a beautiful time! So what is next?
