Wednesday, June 13, 2012. I have another addiction, which is definitely not what I needed! I've been playing with the clay for about 3 years now, but have been totally obsessed as of late. There seems to be something therapeutic about squishing and kneading clay. At least for me! I think the best part for me, is that I get to play with dolls. I also like the fact that it incorporates so many of my favorite crafts. After making the actual doll, I get to either crochet or sew the doll's clothes.

Thursday, June 21, 2012. Littie Elf and Littie Monster-WIP. I received my first order from Secrist Doll Supply last Friday! I decided to begin work on an Elf and Monster, as tho. Se were the ideas that had been swimming around in my head for weeks! Began work on the Elf head but was NOT happy with the result. I'd read somewhere that it is good to let your work sit a while then go back to it. I'm so glad I resisted the temptation to go ahead and bake! I let them BOTH sit overnight. SO happy I did!
