Sabriel's Dreams: June 2013
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 24, 2013. I keep forgetting to take pictures of things I've been making, really must improve! This is the LO I made from some of my May 365 photos. It was a very busy month with ballet things and work stuff too. Some lovely evenings though, and the garden finally started to come to life after the cold spring. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sabriel's Dreams: July 2013
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 21, 2013. Recently we went on a visit to Mt Usher Gardens. There are several little bridges crossing the river, and different walks to take, in woodland and in more open spaces. There is a little pet cemetry too for all the much-loved furry members of the families that have lived here. This lamp-post reminded me a little of Narnia, it is on the path up to one of the gates into the private section of the garden. Friday, July 19, 2013. Sunday, July 14, 2013. I spent a lot of time thinking abou...

Sabriel's Dreams: November 2012
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2012. I keep seeing mention of Day books and Smash books and other types of books in crafty blogs and websites recently and to me they are just little albums like the ones I enjoy making - so I decided to make a Winter Book, which I would use as a diary for December this year and next year (there are enough pages, although I don't know how practical it will be! I can't remember the paper pad I used, it was from Create with Kate. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. I just went out into the ...

Sabriel's Dreams: February 2013
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. Two more cards that I've made for upcoming birthdays - I think February has the most birthdays of all the months - there are 3 or 4 people on the same day even! I need to buy some more blank cards now as I'm running very low, but finances are even lower, so that will have to wait until pay day! Thank goodness February is a short month! Wednesday, February 6, 2013. So here are 2 of the cards I've made ( I can't post the others yet until they are posted! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sabriel's Dreams: Mixed Media Thoughts
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2015/01/mixed-media-thoughts.html
Friday, January 16, 2015. Since I've got interested in making crafty things (as opposed to merely paint and pencils) I've noticed that creativity goes in phases. Maybe everyone is making tags, or complicated folded cards, or altering frames and other items. Using alcohol inks. Or a particular type of marker. Recently it's been mixed media. Here is a page I did using Gelatos. Die ages ago and done nothing with. I can't remember where I got the quote. January 24, 2015 at 4:14 PM. Gelatos are great fun- I g...

Sabriel's Dreams: Full Moon
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2015/01/full-moon.html
Sunday, January 4, 2015. There's a fabulous full moon this evening and it's going to be pretty frosty I'd say. I tried to take some photos of it on both my phone and my camera. Not too spectacular on either, but they do catch the atmosphere a little. This one is from my phone - I don't think you would know that the light in the middle is the moon, it could just be a street light! And this one is from my camera - a bit more atmospheric, but again, could be a street light. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sabriel's Dreams: Summer
http://sabrielsdreams.blogspot.com/2013/08/summer.html
Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Some photos from Dun Laoghaire on one of the hottest evenings of the summer, back in July. It was a lovely evening and the sunset was beautiful. The sun was reflected in the windows of the buildings as it went down, creating a funny effect from the pier with the reflections on the water on both east and west. And the moon rose and it was a gorgeous evening. I'm glad it is now getting on towards autumn though, my favourite time of year! August 27, 2013 at 11:22 PM. This comment h...

Julie's Doll House: December 2013
http://juliesdollhouse.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 December 2013. A new project - my Georgian mansion. Such a long time without a post. but I've been busy. I've recently acquired a huge mansion house. It has 12 rooms over four storeys, including a basement and attic. It has taken me some time to fix the lighting system, which is the copper tape type. There are 64 light bulbs running over two circuits, with 50 and 32 bulb transformers. A soldering iron and mini drill have been great help over the last couple of weeks! Links to this post. I now ...

Salt and Pepper: March 2010
http://thecruetset.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Two Peas in a Bucket. Wednesday, 31 March 2010. Do you remember the Harvest Creature. Well, my kids' school also holds an Easter Egg competition at the end of the Spring term, and here are some of the fabulous creations from this years' lot! Liam is newly into Ben 10 and he was absolutely sure he wanted to do Ben Egg, but when I had a look at the characters and saw there was one called "Echo Echo", it came to me. Eggo Eggo it had to be! One for all the Top Gear fans. Boiled Egg and Soldiers! And this one...

Julie's Doll House: Changing rooms
http://juliesdollhouse.blogspot.com/2014/05/changing-rooms.html
Sunday, 11 May 2014. The steps to getting there. I love to read comments so thank you in advance. I read every one and try to reply to all. Julie :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hello and thanks for visiting my blog. A visit to the Museum of the City of New York some years ago set me off on a miniaturist journey. I loved the antique dolls houses there, and when I came home, I set about building my first house. A new range for the kitchen. More Minis @ Blogspot. Custom Rehab Week 08. Working in 1/...
