We checked out the ditch that was dug the day before at Frog Pond and then found jubata across Boronda. We clipped the plumes and noted the location (almost directly across from path, on the right side of the fence). Fighting the War on Weeds in Salinas Parks. 02 April 2007 @ 07:39 pm. Scouted the BMX park and planned a weed event for 21 April. There is lots of thistles and ox-tongue that needs to be removed. Also scouted jubata in the creek near Safeway. It is hard to get to and removing it will require taking out a bunch of (native) blackberry first. Scouted cape ivy in corridor and found it mixed in with (Himalaya) blackberry. Pull up a weed. 10 August 2006 @ 08:36 pm. Scouted along Upper Carr Lake. Pull up a weed.

Delivered 6 bat, 2 kestral and 5 bluebird boxes to the Watershed Institute tool shed. Pull up a weed. 10 September 2005 @ 06:43 pm. Grandparent’s Day Event.
