We thought we saw the promise of greener fields and hilltops in every glistening drop. But alas, the drenching did not last and now that Spring has come, my patch of California land is drying out. He can grab onto a thistle – (careful not to snare a thorny bit! And pull himself up and onto the perfect seat for a ride.
