Here are some of Miss Lyall's favourite Apps for iPad and iPod's. Math Slide - there are 6 in this series - 4 are free and 2 are paid apps. They are all fantastic and help the children look at their numbers in several different ways. Aurasma is an app we are going to be using a lot more of next term. We love getting comments on our blog. Quality comments can start a conversation and help us to share our learning with others. Please use these guidelines to write Quality Comments on our blog. Start with a greeting and end with a closing. Eg "kia ora, hello, hi" or "from, goodbye, have a great day". Make sure you use correct spelling, punctuation and grammar - check your comment and ask someone to help. One exclamation mark only! Tell the author something positive about their work - a compliment.

Our Current Maths Topic. This term we are studying Geometry - shapes, patterns, maps etc. Here is the Transformation workshop we will be working on this week - we will be looking at all sorts of patterns etc. This is the shape workshop you will be working on with Miss Lyall. Use this website ( Turtle Drawing. To practise drawing shapes and to think about how you would instruct someone to draw a shape. Can you draw these shapes? Try out these maths games websites to help you with your maths learning.
