Friday, September 25, 2009. Once again, a sleepless night is bringing me to the computer. This time, it was me being incredibly hungry that actually forced me to get up to fix an English muffin for a 5:15am snack. I'm done trying to figure out the weirdness of pregnancy. Friday, February 18, 2011. I realize it's been almost six months since I posted anything, and I have no excuses! So here are a few pics to catch you up with our growing boy. Since he turned 1, Harry's had his first trick-or-treating experience, we've had family pictures taken, Christmas toy explosion, an ice storm and Harry's first hair cut. I hope to do better in getting pictures up more often, but I'm not promising anything : ) Enjoy the pictures! Hope you guys are doing well! Ashley, he is so precious!

Sunday, March 28, 2010. So here's to unplugging for awhile, in hopes of simpler days. I'm trying to only check my email three times a day, and that includes checking my phone and computer. I think I'm just tired of how distracted I am by glowing screens and keyboards. Instead, I want to be distracted by the glowing face of my son. Will other "stuff" get in the way? Of course it will. This piece is in acrylic gouache. I tried putting down an orange base coat and painting over it. It's not my usual style so it was a bit of a challenge to get the right balance of delineated forms and the sort of flat effect that I wanted. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Monday, October 18, 2010. I really cannot believe that my baby has turned one! His party was small, but fun was had by all. Harry enjoyed eating cake, but was more cautious than we thought he'd be.
