Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Wow, has it been since March since we updated this? It goes to show how busy we've been this spring and summer. Every year we think will be the year we relax and stay at home and garden but every summer we end up packing with fun adventures. This year has been no exception. Iceland, Lake Tahoe, Bayfield, bike touring. See new posts and pictures at www.travelsoutsidethebox.blogspot.com. And www.pedalingsquares.blogspot.com. Posted by Outdoor2some at 9:01 AM.

Sunday, January 29, 2006. How dare Gish and I draw people into our blog and then abandon you for weeks without a word. Well, I can't say we've been traveling or too busy. But our minds have been occupied since New Year's weekend. That's when we hatched the idea to sell all we have, quit our jobs and move to Iowa to open a coffeehouse. So this is our excuse for the lack of any blogs lately. We'll try to do better from now on. At least until another wild idea takes hold. Posted by Outdoor2some at 3:17 PM.

Thursday, March 27, 2008. I popped the back off of my 1969 Hamilton chronograph and dusted off our old Olympus CZ5050. I don't use this camera at all anymore, other than for macro shots. It has the most amazing macro capabilities for a point-and-shoot digital. Anyway, here's the Swiss Landeron 248 movement. Why would anyone want a battery-powered watch after looking at this? And a dial shot:. Posted by Outdoor2some at 12:01 PM. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. In an advertisement by a Hong Kong Dentist:. Salad...

Wednesday, December 14, 2005. At least 5 inches and still falling. I've shoveled once and I'll have to go out again later. This is so exciting. This winter is shaping up to be a good one. Gish and I have a long weekend coming up and I'm sure we'll spend it on snowshoes and skis. Posted by Outdoor2some at 6:11 AM. Sunday, December 11, 2005. Moby did his part by giving me "a hand", although I think we had different ideas about that. Now, after sealing 3 windows, he's taking a nap, and I decided to blog...

Outdoor2some: November 2005

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. To Catch a Cat. We hadn't really planned to get a cat so soon but I think both of us were missing having one around the house and it led to our trip to the shelter. Once you go there, it's hopeless. I knew we'd end up going home with a cat. But nothing would have prepared us for this amazing guy. And found his water and food. It is as though he has lived here a long time, the way he settled right in. Posted by Outdoor2some at 7:19 AM. Wednesday, November 23, 2005. The client...

Tuesday, September 27, 2005. He's dark, he's chubby, he's athletic, he's cute. Often he dangles from one of the nearby elm trees or hops up on the roof with as much agility and ease as one would step over a fallen tree. OK, he is a bit of a showoff, but, wouldn't you, if you could scale a tree in under 3 minutes? Some call him a pest, but we call him our little Peanut. Posted by Outdoor2some at 11:03 AM. Sunday, September 25, 2005. If heating costs get too high. We'll be set for the winter with this pile!

Monday, October 31, 2005. After a truly atrocious experience at the Trail(ers) of Terror - mile-long traffic queue, hours-long queues for the "exhibits" and scary-looking hot dogs, we fled with our Little Brother to come home and carve pumpkins. It was far more fun. This is the result of Gish's and my efforts. Posted by Outdoor2some at 8:28 AM. Saturday, October 29, 2005. Posted by Outdoor2some at 2:30 PM. Monday, October 24, 2005.
