Saturday, March 10, 2012. How my day started Thursday. On Thursdays I do not see patients in my office, only the hospital. I start my day early to do hospital rounds so I can be back at home to take Jake to school. As I was leaving the hospital, I sent this text to Jonathan. Sunday, February 26, 2012. Jake started swimming lessons this weekend. They are every Saturday for six weeks. I put him in the Aqua Ducks class, which is the beginner class for ages 3-5. He’ll be 3 in two months and not afraid of the water, so I thought he’d be ready.). There are 7 kids in his class. He’s the smallest by several inches, the only one that can’t quite touch the bottom of the pool, and the only one in a diaper. Jake is the only one facing backwards. Practing putting his face in the water.

Friday, December 23, 2011. Friday Five: Christmas Picture Rejects. I know that everyone who attempts to take Christmas pictures of their kids goes through the same thing we did.131 pictures and and only one that looked decent enough to put on the Christmas card. Thank goodness for digital pictures! Here are some of our rejects. Too many hands and a paci. Hey, are these real presents behind us? Jake's attention span lasted about 6 seconds. Next year, I'm going to have Nikki. Do ours, like she did last year.
