Lora's Food for Thought: December 2011
http://reynoldsfoodforthought.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 24, 2011. I made dog biscuits for our dogs and the neighbors dog for Christmas. They were very easy to make and the dogs love them! I thought next year I will make a couple of batches and give them out to all of our neighbors with dogs. This makes a cute gift! 1 cup rolled oats. 1/3 cup peanut butter. 3 cups whole wheat flour. 1 Boil water and add rolled oats and butter, turn off burner. Sit for 10 minutes. 2 Stir in the rest of the ingredients until it becomes stiff like dough. First ...

Lora's Food for Thought: March 2012
http://reynoldsfoodforthought.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I do not have a food mill or ricer, so I used my colander and pushed the potatoes through the holes. It was a little time consuming, but I was not going to rush out and buy a ricer just to see if my family likes gnocchi. I may buy one now! The sauce is a hearty vegetarian sauce with lots of mushrooms. It was a little messy to make, but worth it. I served the gnocchi with a fresh baguette that I ordered from Barefoot Bread. From the Food Network Magazine. 3 large russet potatoes.

Thursday, April 12, 2012. Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Giveaway. I have been using coconut oil. For the last two years. For Christmas one year I bought my parents coconut oil and Tropical Traditions. This is how I use coconut oil:. I use 1 tsp of coconut oil in my oatmeal. I spread coconut oil on my toast before adding peanut butter. I saute my vegetables in coconut oil. I also bake with coconut oil instead of using butter. Coconut oil in brownies is yummy! Gives it a coconut/chocolate flavor, yum!

Lora's Food for Thought: November 2011
http://reynoldsfoodforthought.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 5, 2011. Meal planning has been hard lately since I go to school every other Tue. night and every Wed. and Thur. night. I have to make enough for leftovers or keep some frozen items on hand. I have about 5 more weeks like this, so I just try to make extra on the nights I cook so my family can eat off that when I am at school. Tri-tip strips, garlic mashed potatoes, beer cheese bread and green beans. Pork stir fry with oyster sauce and veggies. Links to this post. Links to this post.

Sweet Failure | headlong after Him
https://brookellanos.wordpress.com/2010/08/27/sweet-failure
Seeking the God Who first sought me. Who is headlong after Him? I have really learned a thing or two when attempting 2 new crafting things (one of which I have a pretty hefty financial investment in):. 1 I stink at failing…meaning, I don’t like it….ESPECIALLY when it comes to crafting. 2 I have been greatly humbled by the fact that I “ can’t. Do everything I want the first time”…I know, my sis-in-law laughed at me because I sound super full of myself.🙂. The slideshow is the product of the successes.
