Floating Thoughts: A seriously short playlist
http://ilovejiahui.blogspot.com/2006/08/seriously-short-playlist.html
Thursday, August 10, 2006. A seriously short playlist. I just found out they posted the mp3s for all the NDP songs online, so now I have music in my office. To be precise, I have 6 songs, Where I Belong by Tanya Chua, Bunga Sayang by Jacintha, and 4 versions of Home. Guess that makes 3 songs then. Doh. Posted by ILJ @ 7:47 PM. Comments: Post a Comment. Speaker for Algernon: April 2005
http://speakerforalgernon.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Duty is heavier than a mountain; death, lighter than a feather. God is bigger than all your problems. Saturday, April 30, 2005. Still lacking in consistency. oh well. We played snakes-and-ladders for French. and I have to do a CV in French for my dossier of evidence (it counts towards your final grade and subsequently the certificate). I was like, wtf. I haven't even done my CV in English yet and now I'm going to be doing it in French first. Anyway. And yet another mostly unproductive day. This canno...

Floating Thoughts: Tiger Beer Chilli Crab Festival Review
http://ilovejiahui.blogspot.com/2006/08/tiger-beer-chilli-crab-festival-review.html
Thursday, August 10, 2006. Tiger Beer Chilli Crab Festival Review. Bad, bad bad! No good at all! The crabs were so tiny there was barely any meat! I found out from reading news from Channel Newsasia. This guy who lived right there didn't even know about it. Evidently the marketing was not very good. It seemed like the only thing the Americans were interested about was Tiger Beer, and the main crowd they attracted was Singaporeans. Hardly good news for our tourism. On the plus side:. There's this offer fo...

Floating Thoughts: Ode to RCG
http://ilovejiahui.blogspot.com/2006/08/ode-to-rcg.html
Saturday, August 19, 2006. I justed ended work. So this is what it's like when they say if you do what you love, you never have to work another day. And really, I never worked. The hardest thing was the commute and of course getting up. No job offer though. Well sort of anyway. Geographical issues were at hand and I shall have to find a more suitable job elsewhere. Sigh. I was so looking to working from home though. Ah well, tis is life. Posted by ILJ @ 4:22 PM. Comments: Post a Comment. Blogs - Mr Brown.

Floating Thoughts: On Mr. Brown's ban
http://ilovejiahui.blogspot.com/2006/07/on-mr-browns-ban.html
Sunday, July 09, 2006. On Mr Brown's ban. There is a school of thought which says Mr Brown was targeted because he was too mainstream, vis more "alternative" blogs online with lower readership. This argument, if true, means that this could indeed be a watershed for the blogging community. If the latter happens, this could mark the true rise of blogs to the mainstream. By pulling more readers online, there would be a knock-on effect to more fringe blogs like Xenoboy, Mr Wang Says So and Yawningbread, ...
