Thursday, March 8, 2012. We had a fabulous February with lots of warm temperatures which was great for getting outdoors. Reagan was really into Valentine's this year and loved having a special breakfast along with giving and receiving valentines at school. The girls also went to soccer 'camp' together and loved every minute. Both have pretty good skills for their age! We hadn't gotten it out since we moved to NC and it's a definite favorite of the girls. This picture makes me laugh! Fun at Virginia Beach.

Monday, November 5, 2012. As I've said before, we have been so very lucky to get to use Aunt Nancy and Uncle Kenny's beach cottage each summer. It is one of our most favorite weeks of the year and this year did not disappoint! The weather was wonderfully cool for August.around 80 during the day and 65 at night. And even though most days included a few hours of rain, we made the most of it and when John came for the weekend, it was beautiful! Already looking forward to the next time! The next Mia Hamm?

Monday, November 5, 2012. The next Mia Hamm? Only time will tell! Reagan enjoyed her first attempt at soccer playing for the Holly Springs Rec League. Go Bears! While she is not the most aggressive player, she has good, solid skills and enjoyed going each week to learn more and play hard. We were all very proud of her! I think the most exciting part of the 8-week season (according to her) was the trophy at the end. It proudly sits on a shelf in her room.what a special treasure! Claire Bears First Haircut.

Sunday, June 21, 2015. YW Retreat - Lopez Island. I only wished it could have been longer than two days. I am already thinking about next years plans! Darin even volunteered to come with us! As leaders we were all so helpful while she was out there. Not at all! But there were about 6 YW doing everything they could to help Hallie. I was so proud of them. Pat volunteered to be our cook. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Both Hallie and Hannah are taking piano lessons from Calleen Grover. They started in January so Hannah is still very much a beginner. Hallie has two years under her belt now. They do a great job of practicing every day without me having to nag them and their preparation paid off. They had their pieces memorized and sounded great. We are sad that Kimber is moving and these girls will not be performing any more duets. They are Sister Grover's oldest students.

Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Fall Festivals and the NC State Fair. We enjoyed several fall festivals and pumpkin patch trips this fall, but I only remembered my camera at a few of them! I think I enjoy these events as much as the girls - fall is my favorite season! We also visited the NC State Fair in Raleigh for the first time! Wow - this was an experience!
