Thursday, May 6, 2010. Our first stop on our little weekend trip was to Newport beach. The kids sure do love the beach! I think the water is extremely cold but the kids must not seem to think so because they jumped right in, crazy! We stayed for a few hours until we needed to go check in at the hotel. When we got to the hotel the kids wanted to go swimming right away so we did just that! The big guy turned the big 3 6! Happy birthday sweetie, we love you! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saturday, May 26, 2012. Nicole is now a middle schooler! She had her 5th grade graduation on the last day of school. She told me that she is definitely ready to be in middle school now. The only thing she is sad about is that her 2 best friends will each be at a different school. Nicole with her teacher, Ms. James. She was an awesome teacher and Nicole was lucky enough to have her for 4th and 5th grade! Nicole with her best friends, Maara and Katie. They have been the best of friends since 3rd grade!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Nicole thought she would take a try at the cross country thing. There is usually an elementary race before the middle school races. It was a lot harder than she expected, but she did a great job! She came in 18 out of about 80 kids. She even got a medal for being in the top 20! Thursday, April 29, 2010. A trip to the zoo. We broke down and bought another annual membership to the zoo. We haven't had one for about 2 years and thought we were done but now we have another kid who is going to love the zoo! It is a great deal if you are planning on going to the zoo a few times a years, which I am sure we will go at least 10 times. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. We had a blast at Disney with our friends! We arrived right when it opened and we played hard all day! Some of our favorite rides were: space mountain, Indiana Jones, splash mountain, pirates, thunder mountain railroad and the matterhorn. It was nice to go with friends because everyone had a partner to go with, which made it easy.
