My personal (but mainly Linux) Blog. Sunday, January 23, 2005. Well, since I was going to install Windows, I made a list of free (as in speech/beer) software that's needed to make it usable. Basically it's a list of things I'm going to install :). Posted by darka at 18:30. View my complete profile.

My personal (but mainly Linux) Blog. Wednesday, April 06, 2005. I'm installing Eclipse which will hopefully end my search for a good IDE/Text editor on GNOME. Installing the CDT (for C /C) takes a very long time though. Hopefully I'll finally be able to port Agronor to SDL now. Posted by darka at 16:33. Bloga: Lo and Linux
http://darka.blogspot.com/2005/01/lo-and-linux.html
My personal (but mainly Linux) Blog. Sunday, January 23, 2005. Well, since my PC is a bit. Broken, I've been using the not so good (but somehow very popular) OS for quite a long time. It's not such an easy task after living with X for a long time. The CTRL C - CTRL V procedure takes up way too much time, once you're used to selecting and middle-clicking. On the Linux part, I'll probably go with Arch. Again and setup 4 partitions:. 75 MB ext2 /boot. 19 GB reiserfs /home. 10 GB reiserfs /.

Bloga: Kubuntu
http://darka.blogspot.com/2005/04/kubuntu.html
My personal (but mainly Linux) Blog. Tuesday, April 05, 2005. Today I tried switching to Kubuntu. Unfortunately, that's not the easiest task ever. In fact, I got lots of DCOP errors and Kcontrol and Konqueror haned X when staring. I read about the DCOP crap a bit on the Ubuntu forums, but there was no available solution that worked. So now I'm back at good ol' GNOME which is fine too. The following NEW packages will be installed:. Kate kdelibs-bin kdelibs-data kdelibs4 libarts1 libqt3c102-mt.
