The Medical Low Down. This entry was posted on August 10, 2014 by Trueunice. It has been a whirlwind of incredible and we are still whirling from it all. I can attest to the truth that His mercies are indeed new every morning. Today we celebrated his second birthday! There was a moment last week where I wondered if the party should be cancelled but God delivered us in perfect timing! A couple months ago a friend from church gave Timo the book H ooray for Hat. Happy 2nd Birthday Timoteo Seunglee Beck!

The Medical Low Down. Need a New Morning. This entry was posted on August 6, 2014 by Trueunice. There’s only so much redirecting and distracting a mother can do while waiting for xray or ultrasound results. And there’s only so much truth telling an almost two year old can understand. There are times when I understand that God loves us through all this and that He does it all for a reason. Then there are times I’m struck with fear that I have no idea what I’m talking about. The Medical Low Down. Posted in December 2013. 8216;Tis the Season. We’ve had a few days of snowfall already this winter season. But as bad as the weather seems, everything, I mean everything we see in the world looks better when you look through the eyes of gratitude. Exactly one year ago, we brought our son, Timoteo Seunglee (Korean for “victory”) Beck home for the very … Continue reading →. Brodie Dick's CDH Story. Wyatt James Koger, A Fighter from Birth. The Medical Low Down. The Power of Remembering. This entry was posted on July 11, 2015 by Trueunice. There are no words. There are no words to describe the immense power of remembering how good God was. Who are we, Lord, that You would bless us with these people who invested time to pray and let their hearts yearn for my son’s life? Who are we that we would then be granted his life to live when it is not the case for so many others? Forgive me for losing sight of this truth oh God. As wounds which mar th...

The Medical Low Down. Our battle with CDH has been an experience beyond words. That’s why this page is for all the passages of the Bible, the Lamp unto our feet, that friends and family have sent us as encouragement through the process. His Words are often the words we speak when we have none. A psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd,. He makes me lie down in green pastures,. He leads me beside quiet waters,. He refreshes my soul. The Medical Low Down. Below is a list of songs that have come to our lips from the day our son, Timoteo was born. We’ve sung these songs to him when he was on ECMO, when he battled through his surgeries, when his diaphragm was paralyzed, when we’re happy, when we’re full of fear and when we’re full of courage. These are the songs we sing. Your Love Never Fails. I Could Sing of Your Love Forever. God is So Good. Great is Thy Faithfulness. How Great is Our God. Praise to the Lord. Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.

She’s been such an understanding and reasonable doctor and we appreciate her so much. He’s sleeping now and I just pray that the chip and rice water doesn’t come up as vomit and instead processes through his bowels. The glimmer of hope was that at the end of the night, though through tears, he pooped! There was applause and cheering and kisses all around. Yay! Love you later, Raelyn.
