View more pics from our trip HERE. Monday, May 4, 2009. Martyr Park.and Good-bye Changsha. Yesterday we visited Martyr Park. It was a nice park.very clean and VERY busy. There were people EVERYWHERE! But we had a great time. There was a beautiful lake where hundreds of people had rented paddleboats. Racing around the paddleboats were nice size speed boats. Scary! But it didn't seem to bother those in the paddleboats at all! There was a long, beautiful pier that took you out into the lake. So pretty!

View more pics from our trip HERE. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Otherwise known as Guangzhou! We made it to the hotel around 10:30 pm Kalia did great on her first plane ride. She got a little bored towards the end, but we managed to keep her occupied and quiet. Beautiful weather, and the island is safe and quiet. After that our guide, Bob, took us on a tour of the island. Beautiful! We negotiated the price for all 5 prints down to around $30. They will soon be framed and hanging in our bathroom!

First though, we were to meet Bob in the lobby at 8:30 to visit YunTai Gardens. Pretty park.lots of pretty landscaping.and some odd (out-of-place) statues. It was nice to get off the island and see some of the city on the drive there. Oh well, I can cram some in until we leave, right? Unfortunately Dan came back shortly after and Kalia was sound asleep. I didn't want to wake her, even though I really wanted to go shopping, so I anxiously waited for her to wake up. After dinner we took a walk down by the river, where we met this lovely couple. LOA: 3.5.09.

August 04, 2014. And home 4 1/2 months. A few things I don’t want to forget:. Favorite foods are bananas, grapes, most meats, yogurt and milk. Favorite toys are the play kitchen, popcorn popper toy and playdough. He also loves to color. Favorite Song by far is “The Wheels on the Bus”. He loves the “wah, wah, wah” and “beeping horn” parts! He LOVES music and busts a move all the time. He talks to his bears at night before falling asleep (usually in our bed). His smile can light up a room. Quote of the Day.

August 30, 2014. Well…I did it. I went and allowed by 18 year old daughter to choose a party she’s been wanting to do for a couple years. And…while it was super messy…it was SO MUCH FUN! I think my sister might have had more fun that the kids. We hung up canvases to splatter and they had fun doing that. But it quickly turned into using the human body as a canvas. July 31, 2014. Emilee has decided she wants to get back into softball…and I couldn’t be more excited! I love going to the ball fields and watching her play. I love watching her get excited when she wins or makes a good play…and even watching her get frustrated when she messes up…because I know she’s taking it all to heart and learning from it. September 12, 2014. It’s that time of the year again. School started for my kiddos Aug. 20 (Caiden started Aug. 13). A month in and they are doing fantastic! A senior…a sophomore…a 1st grader…and a preschooler. I’m a little stressed right now…and anxious, knowing my oldest has only a few more months with me until she heads off to college on her own. 24 července 2015 v 19:54 Klarie e. Ahoj všichni, jsem zase tady :). Ale jen na chvíli- znáte to. Momentálně sedím u proskleného stolku, na pohodlném vzorovaném křesle. A jediná moje starost je, jestli půjdu na bazén teď nebo za deset minut. Jsme totiž s mou rodinou na dovolené ve Znojmě a užíváme si to, jak. Nejlépe můžeme. Sice už jsme byli na týden v Maďarsku a odtamtud jeli sem,. Ale připadá mi, že tady víc odpočíváme a víc si toho vážíme. Konečně jsem vypnula a do poslední chvíle nehodlám začít :).
