Wednesday, August 17, 2011. First Day of School. The day arrived for our oldest two to head off to school to start another school year. This year is a turning point for our family as half the kiddos are gone during the day, but it is also giving me a renewed chance to enjoy our little ones and the preschool years. Caroline is going into 3rd grade! Mrs Moore was there and Caroline was excited to meet her. Jonathan will be in 1st grade. It doesn't seem possible! We love our bus driver! She doesn't leave th...

Tuesday, October 16, 2012. August slowed down for us in some aspects. It was a month of change and getting settled into routine. School started and we have 3 in school this year! How has that happened? Caroline is in 4. Jonathan is in 2. Elizabeth is in Kindergarten. We also visited several of our favorite spots: Little Hands on the Farm,. The second trip was for all of us and it was Contemporary Christian Day, so we got to see one of our favorite bands: Big Daddy Weave. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cribbs Half Dozen: September 2012
http://cribbshalfdozen.blogspot.com/2012/10/september-2012.html
Tuesday, October 16, 2012. September was another fast month. We continued to have fun at home school. Thankfully, we were taking advantage of some warmer days with gym class outside moving to art creating mud masterpieces. Caroline had a couple of big moments in September. She was the only person in her class to score 100% on their first unit math test. For most of the month, I worked on surprising David for his milestone birthday. He didn’t make it easy for me! Because he didn’t know it was a surp...

Cribbs Half Dozen: March 2011
http://cribbshalfdozen.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 25, 2011. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but find myself planning similar activites with my kids! What a challenging job it is to be a mom! I love my job and wouldn't change it for anything! Thursday, March 17, 2011. Jonathan was jumping around and being silly popping out from behind the trees. This is probably one of my favorite parts of the St. Patrick's Day parade. I love bagpipes and when the guys twirl their drumsticks, I think it's pretty cool! We took a walk to the creek after d...

Thursday, April 21, 2011. Happy 4th Birthday Elizabeth Anne! We had no idea 4 years ago on a sunny Saturday when we had a scary situation, just how much fun would come out of that sweet bundle of joy we welcomed into our family. I'm so thankful everytime I look at Elizabeth for the gift of life and especially thankful that we are both still here! After a rough start, we've really been enjoying this little girl! How quickly these past 4 years have gone! Opening presents - let's just say, this girl is not ...

Jonathan David is nearly at the 4 foot mark. Elizabeth Anne is working on reaching the 3 1/2 foot mark. While Matthew Charles is gaining and nearly ready to surpass his big sister! We did have on...

Cribbs Half Dozen: January 2011
http://cribbshalfdozen.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 21, 2011. To get tickets half price. Since there are 6 of us, this could have been a pretty pricey outing! We also pre-warned the kids that we were not going to be buying any souveniers. They had a Buzz toy that lit up and spun around for a measly $20. You do the math x 4 kids - YIKES! Instead, we took lots of pictures and made some great memories! The introduction of the toys. Everyone's favorite Cowboy and Space Ranger - Woody and Buzz! The girls enjoying the show. We had a great time!
