The Kaylee Chronicles: Desired destinations
http://kayleemcdaniel.blogspot.com/2013/08/desired-destinations.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. I am currently battling a severe case of wanderlust. Maybe it's my gypsy blood, or maybe it's the fact that I was wrapping up a fab trip to London this time last year. Either way, I am itching for an adventure. Until I can get a vacation on my calendar, these are the places in which I spend my daydreams. Join me? 65279;. Monday, November 26, 2012. Some new, weird behavior (and a recipe! But I love working on my discipline, especially since this is an area of my life that could always improve. So tonight, after I went to the scary part of the gym (my workout included lifting five-pound weights. look out, Arnold. I came home and made myself dinner. I really liked it, so I thought I would include a recipe below. Rotini with a Bacon-Tomato Sauce. 2 strips bacon (I used Applegate Organic Sunday Bacon. 1 clove garlic, minced.

A Muse Abroad: Restarting the creative juices
http://amuseabroad.blogspot.com/2014/11/restarting-creative-juices.html
Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Restarting the creative juices. So I started with that. The fabric is Liberty of London tana lawn. If you don't sew, you might not know that this fabric is the stuff of heaven. It is gorgeous to the touch, reminiscent of silk, but is cotton. The prints range from traditional to modern, and I've wanted to work with it for years. The hefty price tag left me afraid to cut it. What if I did something wrong? It would be wasted! The pattern is Oliver S class picnic blouse. In a dre...

A Muse Abroad: Frozen yogurt banana pops
http://amuseabroad.blogspot.com/2011/11/frozen-yogurt-banana-pops.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Frozen yogurt banana pops. With temperatures soaring to 35C in the shade (from 15C at daybreak), I needed a nourishing, cooling snack for those pesky after school hours. These banana pops were just the ticket! They are bananas dipped in Greek yogurt with a touch of honey, rolled in sprinkles and frozen as popsicles. I had made these with peanut butter and/or chocolate before, but not the yogurt. Delicious! For sharing this treat. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). With temper...

Little Latinos: June 2012
http://little-latinos.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, 10 June 2012. Little Miss Turns 3. I honestly can't believe another year has passed and our ' BABY'. Her current obsession is Peppa Pig, meant the plan for a Princess Ballerina cake made way for a cake that truly made our Angel smile! When her present arrived in the mail Malachi picked it up with his Daddy and kept it secret for almost 2 weeks. When he gave it to her, (because he though keeping the secret meant it was from him) she was THRILLED! Peppa Pig for Serena. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Soulful Thoughts: December 2010
http://thesoulfulparent.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 8, 2010. I remember early on in my career as a parent coach, how easy it was to feel intimidated by some of the high profile “experts” out there, with many letters after their names, books and TV shows: anything from changing your child in a week, to having your kid behave in 3 simple steps. As parents, we find ourselves pulled in many directions and in the midst of all that, we question every one of our decisions before, during and after we make them! I don't have to convince you tha...

Racing to be Still: August 2010
http://kimrahn.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I HEART faces photo challenge. This is my entry for the. I ♥ Faces. This week at I Heart Faces the theme is the "beach". There is so much to like about this image. That's my kid.my sweet sweet James. His arms open wide as if to measure the greatness of what he sees. I can sense his anticipation as he waits for wave. That was the first time he actually enjoyed the beach and wasn't so grossed out by all the sand. This image amazes me seeing his little body against the big ocean.
