I raise a glass to toast your New Year and what it may bring you. Actually, I just enjoyed the photo and wanted to share it here. Thanks to Steve Jurvetson. For allowing it.). For me, this New Year means I have outlived my surgeon's estimate of my life expectancy. Maybe like these guys, on New Year's Eve. And one from Chile.

Monday, November 20, 2006. So what is this " Patiently Occupied. Blog about, anyway, you ask? Well, even if you didn't ask, I'll tell you anyway. My main blog. Has been primarily about topics of interest to someone in my situation, whereas I felt I needed a place to be less objective, a place where I could discuss the feelings surrounding that situation.
