Not Drowning, Waving. Sunday, June 06, 2010. And the canine youth amongst us. Instead, we ate German. Bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, German beer, and German chocolate cake. I ate myself stuffed and devoured the time with my aging parents and our aging family friends. Happy Birthday, Papa (the occasion for the festivities). Sunday, January 31, 2010. Sunday at the Park. And here I thought it was going to be a typical lazy Sunday. Boy, was I wrong. We went to Disneyland! Of course, when it was all over, I was one messy puppy. My moms didn't take pictures of all the fun I had, but they did get me in the back of the car smiling and dirty. Little did I know that I'd be coming home to a bath, but getting to play in all the dirt and mud and cold river water made it all worth it. Still, when we got back to the house, was I tired?

Sunday, November 29, 2009. Wow, it's been a busy four days. I love Thanksgiving because both my moms are home and we get to go visiting, but man, it's kind of exhausting. Sunday, June 13, 2010. The weekend has been both laid back and busy. Laid back because we didn't go anywhere special, but busy because we have a house guest - Woobie! I love having Woobie around because she can be mellow when mellow is needed and crazy when crazy is needed and really, really sweet even when you don't think you need it. Friday, October 30, 2009. We have a nightly ritual. Gretchen puts me on my back and rubs my belly. I fall asleep and sigh heavily. My back legs relax and my front legs go limp. I can lie like this for hours. I only wish I could offer the same to Gretchen. She's a worrier and since I'm her dog, I must worry right along with her. Sunday, July 25, 2010. I am home from a weekend at the river. I can't tell you how much fun it is to hang out on the water in the summer heat of Eastern Washington.
