Well the last few days the princess and I have spent on the couch watching Strawberry Shortcake and Karate Kid 2 whilst she tries not to scratch her "spots." Saturday, July 31, 2010. And so it goes. Anyway, left with what I thought I was supposed to have and paint samples of the paint I had picked for the walls. So long story short, cheap fix for the leak, the potty upstairs no longer makes it rain through my living room ceiling, and I love the colors I picked out! I hope by mid-week this week to have trim primed and painted and walls painted.we shall see! Tuesday, July 27, 2010. The queen begins to gently poke around the said area and this is what happens.

Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Tried to come up with some witty banter tonight, but am pretty tired. Curtains still in the works. Mantle now has pewter candlesticks on it but am too tired tonight to redo pic. Still needs another coat of paint and a few things on the mantle.but its a good start. Monday, August 23, 2010. Monday, March 22, 2010. Luck of the Irish. This past weekend we loaded up the kids with Aunt Kelly and our best friend MC and took them to the children's St Patrick's Day parade downtown. All in all it was a great trip, children's parade not so impressive.next year will do the big one! But had a great time, brought home bead loot, free passes to the zoo and had a WONDERFUL lunch at Broadstreet! Lucky for me that bakery is in Jackson or I might weigh as much as an elephant! Getting ready for the parade!
