When Lili turned 8, she wanted a Spongebob Squarepants cake, which, once again, dad had to bake. Well, this was my attempt and I was so proud of it, because even the parents were able to recognise it, which was a good sign. We had her party at Zita Park, which is a nice little park with swimming pool, super tube and lots of jungle gyms etc. She absolutely loved it, but most of allenjoyed opening all the presents. Our holiday in Clarens. Pat and I go to Clarence often, but this time we decided to take the kids with. There is not much for them to do, but they absolutely loved it. It is the most beautiful little town that consists of a few curio shops, art galleries and restaurants. We went there with the hope of seeing some snow, but everybody told us we were about a month too early. When we woke up the one morning, this was the lovely surprise that was waiting for us. Lili and Sabrina patting a snake at the Hartebeespoort Dam Zoo. It was one of the many places that we went to for the holiday. Michela was too scared to go take a closer look. This is an old tank standing outside the zoo on the way back home. Kids wanted to pose by it. So who am I to argue about a photo opportunity.
