Mynydd Du Highland Beef. Organic Beef from our fold of pedigree Highland cattle. Our beef is supplied in 7kg and 15kg mixed boxes. Or as individual cuts. Mixed boxes contain a selection of roasting joints, steak, stewing beef and mince. 15kg boxes contain a wider range of cuts. 7kg mixed box 70. 15kg mixed box 140. Organic Lamb from our flock of rare-breed Boreray sheep. Whole lamb box 9.00 per kg (approx 6-8 kg). Half lamb box 9.50 per kg (approx 3-4 kg). For prices of individual cuts.

Mynydd Du Highland Beef. Wenallt Flock of Pedigree Boreray Sheep. After the evacuation of the human population and their livestock from the islands in 1930, a remnant feral population of sheep survived on the almost inaccessible island of Boreray, and in 1971 six individuals were removed from the island for research purposes. The entire mainland UK breeding population is descended from those individuals, and the breed is classified as 'critically endangered' by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
