http://paturner.blogspot.com/p/paper-mache-sculptures.html
Outsider art for the end of civilization! Gallery 3 Paper Mache Sculptures. I love working with paper mache. It's a lot easier on my hands now and I like the feel of it. It's something best done in warmer weather around here too. LOL. Here are some pieces I did last fall. Soon as I get a camera, I'll take pictures of the other things and put them in here. This is a little witch I did for Halloween. There's a Jack-O-Lantern Candy container too. Next are some Christmasy figures. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Outsider art for the end of civilization! Sunday, February 8, 2015. One more graphite piece "Trees". Got another one listed last night! I've worked all winter on things that I'll list on Etsy soon. Bags and dolls, artwork. It will be a lot of fun! This drawing is called "Trees". There is a spirit face in the trees. I like the way it came out. I hope you like it, check back again soon for new things. :D. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Gallery 1 Paintings and Drawings. Gallery 2 Graphite Drawings.

http://paturner.blogspot.com/p/gallery-of-current-work.html
Outsider art for the end of civilization! Gallery 1 Paintings and Drawings. I thought it might be cool to have a page for a gallery where I could post pictures of my pictures! This page will be work that is recent. I'll make another page for older drawings and paintings. It might be nice to see how they have changed over time. This first painting is probably one of my favorites. I love the way the colors worked out. The world is an unforgiving place isn't it? Here's the poem written on the back. I always...

Outsider art for the end of civilization! Gallery 2 Graphite Drawings. I love graphite drawings, I love their straight forwardness, their simplicity and elegance. I love doing them! Here are some of my graphite drawings. Some I did a year or so ago and some are more recent. This first one is called "Burning Down the House". I was inspired by an old photo of a building burning, I added the little arsonist of course. This one is sold. This next one is called "The Pinch". It's about sexual abuse. This next ...

p.a.turner outsider art: Finally, new work to list on Etsy!
http://paturner.blogspot.com/2015/02/finally-new-work-to-list-on-etsy.html
Outsider art for the end of civilization! Friday, February 6, 2015. Finally, new work to list on Etsy! Well, it took long enough didn't it? I finally got myself together and listed 3 new graphite pieces on Etsy today. They are done in the meditative technique that I blogged about some time ago. I'm very pleased with how these turned out and, as usual with this technique, surprised as well. Here's the first one. I called it "The Mountains are Watching". The next one, is "The Living Will Envy the Dead".

The Entwife's Garden. A gardener's view of the world. About The Entwife’s Garden. On the idea of the woodland and how the project developed. December 29, 2014. Stephen and Claire on the Rollrights woodland project. I insisted on the green paths thru the wood, initially resisted by the FC but now apparently highly endorsed for new plantings. Pathway through the woods. The grass circle and the Whispering Knights beyond it. Originally there was an anti muntjac deer fence round all sides but I have now remov...

Redreaming life in Upstate New York working towards a combination of sustainability and quality of life as civilization collapses. September 01, 2013. Well this year i have been busy with the garden over the summer and so far it has been a very decent gardening year here in Sempronius New York. The garden itself is now fenced as we decided to go totally free range with the ducks and chickens and THAT meant we needed to fence the food garden from their 'helpfulness'. The bottom is filled with lovely thick...

JYE A KIDS PERSPECTIVE: The Silver Chair
http://jyebraydan.blogspot.com/2011/01/silver-chair.html
JYE A KIDS PERSPECTIVE. Home-schooled Australian Kid in the Finger-Lakes New York. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. This story is part of a series of books called The Chronicles of Narnia. The main characters are Jill and Eustace, Puddleglum the marsh wiggle, prince Rilian son of Caspian The 10th. Time passes a lot quicker in Narnia. I would recommend this book for ages about 6 and up but it is a great series of books and there are also movies called The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe.
