This blog is to show my experiences and hunting on my local marsh. Saturday, 30 July 2011. Wentloog Wildfowlers remove skip load of rubbish from foreshore. A huge skip load of metal, plastic and rubbish and over 50 car tyres have been cleared off the foreshore between Cardiff and Peterstone by a group of wildfowlers. The foreshore tidy-up was organised by the Wentloog Wildfowling and Conservation Association, thanks to a grant from Keep Wales Tidy and with help from members of the Gwent Wildlife Trust.

Although we were shooting inland, over stubble it was just as exciting. The weather felt a bit wrong with midges buzzing around us and biting the crap out of us. I was lucky enough to get two geese.
