Thursday, 8 March 2012. 1 day left in Tasmania. Well, it is Friday and we are back at Evandale, been to Launceston today. Tomorrow heading back to LaTrobe to stay the night before we head home on Sunday with the Ferry. Also tomorrow going to Burnie to pick some Yummy! Pies 21 pies for $20, and they are big meat pies. We went to Longford Festival, shame it rained a lot of people cancelled out of the Parade. Went to Oatlands, Richmond and the Salmon Farms at Plenty near New Norfolk. Steve at Salmon Ponds.

Friday, 2 March 2012. We have said our Good-byes to Diana and Terry last Thursday, will miss them on our last 10days in Tassie. We have had some fun whilst travelling, picking oysters (plain, Kilpatrick, Mornay), lots of laugs, going into St. Vinneys, Salvation army and even the tip, playing cards, finding laughter in everything we have done. Friday, 24 February 2012. We are now parked at Morven Park waiting for Terry and Diana and then ready to watch the Penny Farthing Races. 3 years ago they were great, so here's hoping the same. We have travelled nearly 4,000kms at an average 11.6litres per 100kms, not bad going especially with all the hills and bends in Tasmania. When they are at the Salamance Markets in Hobart. Yes we should be stars.Steve even was asked his opinion. So watch out for the film stars. Around the Gordon Area 20th February.

Thursday, 30 June 2011. Roadwork - plenty of it and lots of gravel on the road, when all of a sudden a big truck went passed and now we have a big hole in the windscreen. $66 later we have the hole repaired. We are now relaxing - well I am, Steve is cleaning the windows (I can't reach now this home is higher, lucky me) at Theodore, in the same position last year when we met up with Jack and Gill. Tomorrow stay somewhere before Moree, where we will relax in the mineral pools for the day before heading home.

Wednesday, 24 August 2011. The Mighty Murray River. We set sail on our houseboat on Tuesday morning, weather was and still is beautiful. Today (Thursday) it is a bit windy.
