Perspective: Compassion | andrea mae

January 29, 2014. Abraham and I studied Colossians 3:12-13 in our fellowship recently, and one of the homework questions prompted us to evaluate how we were growing in each of the listed traits:. Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other. As the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Okay To be fair, she could be having a bad day...

What’s in a Name? August 29, 2012. Is so weird. It’s perfect weather right now — 70 degrees, sunny… almost TOO hot in work attire. Took a short walk after lunch… I was really searching for a snack, since my lunch (remaining portion of pasta from yesterday’s lunch) was insufficient… I ended up enjoying the beautiful weather and getting myself a cafe au lait from a random cafe near my office. Naice. Side note: is the only difference between a cafe au lait and a cafe latte… french vs italian?

October 28, 2013. When Abraham first started grad school, he began looking for a new church in Orange County, knowing that it would be the future home church for the both of us. I’m so thankful that he did this even though we were far apart, and I am glad that after we got married, we already had a church to call home — Compass Bible Church. Praise God for the perseverance of the saints, for his word being made known in all the nations! Responses to “ATAPAT”. Feed for this Entry. Enter your comment here.

What’s in a Name? October 26, 2013. Hello blogging world, I realized I had (at least) one reader left for my blog, so I decided to write a post at her request! I have just finished taking the 8-hour exam for my professional engineering license, and though I have two more state tests this Friday, it doesn’t hurt to take a few minutes to blog about the third inhabitant in my humble abode. And visited the Irvine Animal Shelter. Plug for adoption over. Anyway, I realized that we pretty much just made a 1...

What’s in a Name? September 12, 2012. Hm My coworker has been calling me AHN-dree-uh (as opposed to ANN-dree-uh). I’ve been working here for 10 months now, so it’s a bit strange to correct her now… o O. Responses to “What’s in a Name? Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Marriage 1: Cooking | andrea mae

November 18, 2013. WAY back when, I used to do this series of posts called “In Class, Part X.” I think I’ll attempt redoing a series of blog posts, but this time about married life, since I’m not in class all day anymore, haha. As Abraham and my schedule continues to get busier with church events, added hours at work or school, and what have you… (I can’t explain why married life inherently feels busier! One recipe I enjoyed was “ Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce. So cute. It’s nice we also ha...What I ...
