Three Brown Girls: June 2008
http://3browngirls.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
It's not so much a resolution as much as something to do instead of going out all the time. I want to keep my family and friends updated as to what is happening with my girls and myself. I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment. Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Mouths of Babes, Why is it treading on water? I wanted to slap her and wash her mouth right there but my jaw just dropped and Harley screamed at her, "Jacalyn! Where did you learn that! To which she replied, "Nancy", that is her daycare provider. Well the ...

Eric Bailey's: January 2005
http://ericbailey.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 27, 2005. Yesterday I received a note in my son's backpack that invited me to come to school with a bag lunch and join my son for family literacy day. My wife and I made all kinds of jokes about this notice arriving so late (not that I would have done better if I were at the school). So I am preparing to go and take with me my youngest son as well. Posted by Eric @ 10:56 AM. Tuesday, January 25, 2005. Acts 2:17 and 18. And it will be in the last days, says God,. On My male and female sl...

Jack's Journey: February 2010
http://jacks-journey.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. It's amazing to me how we get so caught up in the busyness of our normal routine. We need to set boundaries and keep the important from being overrun by what we think is urgent or is it just pressing or poor control of priorities, disorganization or not saying "NO" often enough. I will have to think about that. When the first round of shopping was complete Todd had three rather large bags to take out to the van and it was time to hit the food court. Even that was fun! We now t...

A Day in the Life...: January 2015
http://thehillerfamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Saturday, January 31, 2015. We always love to have a little family Christmas before we travel. Every year the kids ask our elf "Huey" if Santa can make a special trip early for us before we travel and of course, Santa thinks those three kids are pretty cute so he makes an exception! The lights were set to a timer with music and kept the beat with the song. This picture shows only a few of his lights. There was not an inch of his house that didn't have a light on it!

A Day in the Life...: Riding Solo
http://thehillerfamily.blogspot.com/2015/06/riding-solo_29.html
A Day in the Life. Monday, June 29, 2015. Look whose riding without training wheels! We knew he could do it but our laid back guy needed a bit of a kick in the pants to ditch them. However it only took minutes for him to figure it out and now he can ride around just like his big brother! He was so proud of himself! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. He Cares: 01/23/07
http://hecares-scrawney.blogspot.com/2007_01_23_archive.html
A mere Christian shares his mere reflections on issues of the day because he cares, which is because He (capitalized) cares. Tuesday, January 23, 2007. If I don't see a hundred ribbons. One of our brothers came. On Sunday. I don't know that he was looking for. A yellow ribbon 'round the ole oak tree. But he certainly got at least a hundred all over the church property to welcome him. One of our teens alone had about 50 ribbons pinned to his shirt. It was all to say we are glad to have you back. He wasn't...

A mere Christian shares his mere reflections on issues of the day because he cares, which is because He (capitalized) cares. Monday, January 29, 2007. But that's only half the story. The other half is that I am going to end the lease on my van as soon as possible and get into a junker for a while. The junker will eventually become the property of Will, Selina and Angeline (if it lasts that long). For now, though, I just want something cheap. She just called for a ride from a music pratice so I gotta go.

A mere Christian shares his mere reflections on issues of the day because he cares, which is because He (capitalized) cares. Thursday, April 5, 2007. At any rate, there is a driving sense of responsiblity to embrace and engage in what God is calling me to do. I call it conviction. Every now and then we just have to stop and take time to connect the dots. Get the picture? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Niece Amanda (Hi Judson). Nephew Brian (Hi Char). He Cares: Any Day Now
http://hecares-scrawney.blogspot.com/2007/05/any-day-now.html
A mere Christian shares his mere reflections on issues of the day because he cares, which is because He (capitalized) cares. Friday, May 25, 2007. I'm not sure I can adequately describe what's going on in my soul right now. But (you guessed it) I'm going to try. The answer differs a bit each time but it always is prefaced with "O ye of little faith.". I know, it's true. O me of little faith. And I might not be so comfortable anymore. And intimidating. I'm very much looking forward to the place God ta...

A mere Christian shares his mere reflections on issues of the day because he cares, which is because He (capitalized) cares. Thursday, January 11, 2007. Doesn't it look like a positively beautiful day in Red Deer today? Just looking at the brightness of the sun and how it lights up the evergreens and fresh-fallen snow makes me want to run outside and play. I love to walk in winter wonderlands of God's creation. Today looks like a perfect day for it. It is indeed beautiful. A lot of life is like that.
