Mark and Airin: Father's Day 2015
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2015/06/father-day-2015.html
Sunday, June 21, 2015. It is fun seeing all my Facebook friends post. This is a bitter-sweet day. On one hand I love my daughters and being a Dad has been the most stressful, challenging, exhausting exercise I've ever done. But there are many transcendent moments that have come because of it and make it all worth it. Nothing gives me the satisfaction in life like being a dad. If you still have a father on this earth, reach out. You never know when they will leave this mortal existence. Goodnight, my angel.

Mark and Airin: September 2014
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 18, 2014. My work recently sent me to Michigan for some training, or what is called a "school". It is something they do a few times a year for associates in all the branches. It was a really wonderful visit and I am excited to go back again. That probably won't happen for at least a year. I flew into Lansing after a short layover in St. Paul, Minnesota. The airport in Lansing is pretty small, but nice. I liked how few people were there. During the days I would walk from the hotel to t...

Mark and Airin: I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2014/03/ill-go-where-you-want-me-to-go.html
Sunday, March 30, 2014. I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go. My Father was a very faithful man. I always knew he loved God and would do whatever was asked of him. While practicing the song, I found myself getting emotional at the words from the 3rd verse:. There’s surely somewhere a lowly place. In earth’s harvest fields so wide. Where I may labor through life’s short day. For Jesus, the Crucified. So trusting my all to thy tender care,. And knowing thou lovest me,. I’ll be what you want me to be.". Mr and M...

Mark and Airin: Visiting Michigan in 2009
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2014/01/visiting-michigan-in-2009.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Visiting Michigan in 2009. I have been missing my Dad the past few days; just a simple sadness that cannot be taken away. I have decided to blog a few more memories of him. In May of 2009, I took my parents back to Michigan to visit the members, areas and places of my mission. I returned from serving a full-time mission in November 2008, so I had been home about six months. We visited many people, but also many great places. We went to the Henry Ford. We visited the Jiffy mixe...

Mark and Airin: MDM - Seven Years Later
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2013/11/mdm-seven-years-later.html
Friday, November 15, 2013. MDM - Seven Years Later. Seven years ago, as a young 19-year-old, I embarked on the most memorable experience of my life. I said goodbye to my family as they dropped me off at the MTC, where I was for just over two weeks. I then flew to Detroit, Michigan. Little did I know what sort of an impact it would have on my life. I think I owe part of getting this job to serving in Michigan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). April 30, 2011. Mark and Airin: August 2013
http://airinnikol.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 11, 2013. The views expressed are my own and not those of Auto-Owners Insurance.*. As I mentioned in the previous blog post. Over a month ago, I had a second interview with an insurance company. It turns out that I got the job! I am really grateful that this opportunity came. 1) Airin can stay home from work. I am so happy that she can stay home with little Lily. More on that here. For those who don't know what underwriting is, we look at insurance policies and decide whether or not we can...
