Experiencing life on the other side of the globe. Thursday, December 16, 2010. So I started wondering how far I traveled to make my dentistry career a reality. Although I have gone many more miles emotionally and spiritually, I figured the round trip from Rwanda to schools and home would be pretty significant. According to my calculations. All of the traveling there and back totaled 19,730 miles. That is like traveling from New York to LA 8 times! My feet touched 3 continents and 7 states!

The cucumber salad was subpar, though. Then the cheese canoli or whatever it was, wasn't bad when leaving Brussels. The ham sandwich wasn't bad toward the end of that flight either.
