The Girl on Fire. Room 221 [Tuesday morning]. October 4th, 2011. Katniss was slowly healing. Physically, she had been fine for weeks. Her hair was still choppy and at different lengths, growing in from where she had burned it off trying to get to Prim. Her skin was still raw and pink where it had been grafted back together by the medics of District Thirteen. But physically, she was fine. It was everything else that had finally begun the slow process of healing. And less like jutting bone under scar tissue.
