Monday, June 18, 2012. We had a wonderful Father's Day with grandma and grandpa at the beach. Silas found a cave. Gave grandpa a hug. Went for a run with daddy. Posed for a photo. And played with sand toys. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. It was hot this weekend. Silas was inspired to wear his Hawaiian shirt, just like grandpa. Saturday, April 28, 2012. A few weeks ago, Mimi and Noa and their parents came to visit. Silas and Mimi warmed up to each other and actually played a little. Silas was particularly excited to play with letters, and Mimi reintroduced Silas to the fun of bathtime. Monday, October 31, 2011. Silas was a cowboy for Halloween this year, thanks to a present from Binga and Binga's (Grandma and Grandpa's) roadtrip. At first we had to bribe him to put on the hat, but the bribery was appropriate, as it was a (fruit) rope. But later, he wouldn't take it off, even while playing with Griffin and Dylan. Happy Cowboy. Sunday, August 24, 2014. The apples are back, so we returned to our favorite day trip. Silas got excited to see Garrett. He's always looking to charm someone. We've discovered how much fun the boats at Stow Lake can be. A new favorite! Again at the DeYoung. Silas got a ribbon and decided to dance. To "Let It Go." Renzo enjoyed the dance party too. Sunday, December 18, 2011. For daddy's birthday, the whole family bundled up and went for a short walk down by the Golden Gate Bridge. We visited Fort Point, learned about cannons, and had fun wandering around pretending to be civil war soldiers. Thursday, December 8, 2011. Dinosaurs and cousins (and dinosaur cousins? We tried to get a photo of all three cousins in front of the T. Rex, but Silas was too fascinated by the T. Rex and Esme was distracted by the wind. Beautiful view from LHS, if a bit windy.
