Born in Crete, Nebraska and raised on third and fourth generation family farms in the rolling hills of Saline County. Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with an emphasis on lithography and painting. Aster of Science degree in Library and Information Science from Columbia University, New York, N.Y. In 1990 began painting. Now paints in her.
