West Ham Till I Die. Iain Dale’s Hammers Diary. October 31, 2008. I just received this email from a reader in the Far East. I thought I would share it with you. A few years ago I started a blog of sorts. Like you, I chose not to post just for the sake of it but only when I had something to say that I thought might be of interest to others. Last month I stopped for various reasons. Firstly, (like me with regard to your blog! I grew up in Hall Road, East Ham just off the Barking Road near East Ham town hal...

West Ham Till I Die. Iain Dale’s Hammers Diary. The Future of Bobby Z. June 13, 2008. Are we having a fire sale, or something? According to various newspaper reports Bobby Zamora is being sold to QPR for a mere 2.5 million. Firstly, it is difficult to believe that an established Premier League player is only worth such a trifling sum and secondly it is incredulous that he would want to move to a middling Championship club when a couple of Premier League teams have already expressed interest in him. Deano...

We as supporters have made an emotional investment in this football club. It hurts when we are losing – to the point of ruining a weekend. Wolves (a) 0-2 Win. Two nill away win against the newly promoted winners of the championship. Tricky first game of the campaign in front of there ‘still celebrating’ crowd. Spurs (h) 1-2 Defeat. Blackburn (a) 0-0 Draw. Wigan (a) 0-1 Defeat.

The Blog Where Hammers Like To Talk. Friday Night Round Up (2-10-09). Here we go again peoples – ‘The Friday Night round Up’. The defeat to Manchester City last Monday night was inevitable. Just by looking at the forward options available to both sides it becomes clear what an against the odds challenge it was:-. Manchester City :- Bellemy, Tevez, Santa Cruz, ect. West Ham :- Cole………………….Hines? Wolves (weren’t in Premiership 08/09, so for comparison lets put in West Brom away) 3-2 defeat. Manchester City...

West Ham Till I Die. Iain Dale’s Hammers Diary. December 31, 2008. Do you think Zola will still be manager of West Ham at the end of the season? If West Ham sell one of their star players in January do you think Zola will resign? Do you think Zola is the right man to lead West Ham through this period of instability within the club? Do you agree with these statements? Zola was the wrong man at the wrong time – 14%. He can only work with the tools available to him – 50%. Posted by Iain Dale. The only paper...

West Ham Till I Die. Iain Dale’s Hammers Diary. Not Much to Write Home About…. July 30, 2008. Not much transfer gossip about is there? The one which really brightened up my day was the rumour about Sunderland being interested in Boa Morte for 3 million. And just to be clear, they would be giving us 3 million and not the other way around. The Lazio-Ljungberg rumour has resurfaced and that’s, er, about it. Glad to see the Green publicity died a death. West Ham Till I Die. Iain Dale’s Hammers Diary. West Brom Preview and Open Thread. March 16, 2009. In midfield Savio may get his first start on the left due to the injuries to Collison and Behrami. However, it appears that Boa Moarte might be fit again, so I wouldn’t put it past Zola to start with him. Kieron Dyer could feature too, although most likely from the subs bench. A more negative formation would be to put Jonathan Spector into midfield alongside Kovac, Noble and Parker. Posted by Iain Dale.
