Frieda Oxenham: Wildflowers and Roses
http://friedaquilter.blogspot.com/2015/08/wildflowers-and-roses.html
Friday, 7 August 2015. Finally a day with some sunshine and a good opportunity to take some outdoor pictures of quilts. Or so I thought. I had reckoned without the flies and the wind so maybe we will have to do that again some other day. If we get another sunny day of course! But the flowers were an easier target for the camera. Above the Veilchenblau roses. Oh my Frieda - these are lovely! 7 August 2015 at 12:48. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Scottish Borders, United Kingdom. 1000 Quilt Inspiratio...

Frieda Oxenham: Letters Journal Quilt
http://friedaquilter.blogspot.com/2015/08/letters-journal-quilt.html
Tuesday, 4 August 2015. I'm a bit late this month but here is the latest contribution to the Journal Quilt Challenge on the Contemporary Quilt Group. They have set the size for this year as 12 x 6" and I choose to use a horizontal orientation. I also themed all my journal quilts this year to use words. For August the word I selected was LETTERS. I gathered together all the fabrics that had writing on them and it proved to be a staggering amount! 4 August 2015 at 16:13. This is brilliant Frieda! Published...

Frieda Oxenham: West Linton Open Gardens
http://friedaquilter.blogspot.com/2015/08/west-linton-open-gardens.html
Sunday, 2 August 2015. West Linton Open Gardens. It was Open Garden day in West Linton today and by some miracle it remained dry the entire afternoon, but it was overcast. Here are some of the amazing flowers we saw in no particular order. These beauties (Begonias) will be entered into the Ayr Flower Show next week. They look like winners to me. Frieda Oxenham: Spring Colours
http://friedaquilter.blogspot.com/2015/05/spring-colours.html
Monday, 18 May 2015. Fortunately the rain held off till the dog walk was over and done with, but it's tipping it down outside now. I briefly ventured out on my hunt for the daily photograph and I loved how the raindrops enhanced this veridiflora tulip. But photography was safer for the camera within the greenhouse where the Sealand Gem clematis has started it's flowering which will continue for most of the summer. I have taken many pictures of it and no doubt will take many more. Your macros are gorgeous!

Frieda Oxenham: Cyber Fyber Exhibition
http://friedaquilter.blogspot.com/2008/01/cyber-fyber-exhibition.html
Tuesday, 29 January 2008. I first heard about this on Lenna's blog. And as I simply love my connections online to host this blog and swap ATCs, Fabric Postcards, Inchies etc. (as you may have noticed! You can read all about it on the website she has set up specially for this: Cyber Fyber Exhibition. But whenever I do I love the finished product. Onto this I added the house image and girl, which are both from Artchix. I added blue beading and a sparkling heart at the top. The text: Promise to kiss me.
